The Assembly Square Mall project consists of a 350,000-square-foot retail shopping center in Somerville, Massachusetts, about 3 miles from downtown Boston. Taurus negotiated all of the leasing of the project and commenced construction of approximately 300,000 square feet of new retail build-out for national retail tenants such as TJ Maxx, Bed, Bath & Beyond, The Christmas Tree Shops, Staples and The Sports Authority. In addition to development of the retail facility, Taurus planned and conveyed the rights to develop approximately 3 million square feet of additional retail, office, and residential space on the adjacent 26 acres of land. The project was sold in 2005, realizing a 3.97% IRR.
