Indian Hills is a planned 240-acre, high-density, mixed-use program, located in Austin, Texas. The property has significant frontage on the newest 8-lane highway being built on the east side of Austin. This area is in what is termed a “Preferred Development Zone”. The city is encouraging the type of high-density mixed-use that the project will utilize. About half the site will include almost 1,500 multi-family units, and the balance will provide light industrial, commercial, and retail sites. The project is currently going through the entitlement process, and infrastructure planning. This process should be completed this year. Then the main thoroughfare, Decker Lake Road, along with approximately 3 miles of off-site sanitary sewer and water lines will be built. Concurrent with the construction, sites will be marketed to developers in the different use categories.
