Mesa Pointe Plaza is a Class B retail center located in Clifton, a suburb of Grand Junction, Colorado. The 84,000-square-foot property is anchored by Cactus Canyon, a renowned country western night club. The center was originally designed for a grocery anchored user that was unsuccessful. When it was purchased, the primary tenants were a church and a Burger King restaurant along with several local tenants. The property was remodeled and converted to its current form with an aggressive program to attract new tenants. It was sold in 2008 realizing a 21.38% IRR.
