Discovery TechCenter II comprises two U-shaped buildings, 62,500 square feet and 55,900 square feet respectively. The LEED Certified property was built in the Central Florida Research Park (CFRP), in close proximity to the University of Central Florida, Alafaya Trail (Highway 434), the East West Expressway (Highway 408), and many area amenities. The buildings were designed and engineered to provide for large open spaces that can be built out for efficiency and layout of modular furniture, as well as for effective distribution of power and wiring. The benefits include long-term operating cost savings, higher work productivity levels and employee satisfaction and environmental stewardship for all future tenants. The buildings address these concerns by providing lower overall energy use, "green" building controls, rainwater harvesting systems and innovative wastewater technologies.
